Quick start
Go from a new NyxonProxies account to a working proxy request in a few minutes. Fund the account, buy a plan, copy the credentials and send a test request.
This guide takes you from an empty account to a request that leaves through a NyxonProxies IP. It uses Residential, the product most people start with, but every step is the same for the other products. Only the host and port change, see Endpoints and ports.
1. Add funds
Open Balance in the dashboard, enter an amount and pay with crypto. The smallest top-up is $1. The credit lands after one network confirmation and never expires, so you can top up once and buy plans over time. More in Add funds with crypto.
2. Buy a plan
Open Purchase, choose Residential and the number of gigabytes. You can pay from your balance, which activates the plan at once, or open a crypto invoice for this plan only. See Buy a plan.
3. Copy your credentials
Open My plans and click the plan. The Connection card shows everything a client needs:
| Field | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Host | geo.gw.nyxon.sh | The gateway for Residential and Mobile |
| HTTP port | 8080 | Plain HTTP and HTTPS sites |
| SOCKS5 port | 1080 | Any TCP traffic |
| Username | USERNAME | Your plan's username |
| Password | PASSWORD | Your plan's password |
The same card has a ready-to-use line in the user:pass@host:port form, and a button that opens the proxy generator, where you pick a country, a session type and an output format.
4. Send a test request
Replace USERNAME and PASSWORD with your values and run one of these. Each one prints the IP address the website sees.
curl -x http://USERNAME:[email protected]:8080 https://api.ipify.orgimport requests
proxy = "http://USERNAME:[email protected]:8080"
r = requests.get("https://api.ipify.org", proxies={"http": proxy, "https": proxy}, timeout=30)
print(r.text)import { fetch, ProxyAgent } from "undici";
const proxy = new ProxyAgent("http://USERNAME:[email protected]:8080");
const res = await fetch("https://api.ipify.org", { dispatcher: proxy });
console.log(await res.text());The address you get back is a residential IP, not your own. Run the command again and you will usually see a different one: without a session in the username, every new connection picks a new IP.
5. Choose a country or keep one IP
Targeting and sessions go into the username, as extra parameters after your base username:
USERNAME-country-us
USERNAME-country-us-state-california-city-losangeles
USERNAME-country-de-session-a1b2c3d4-time-30The first line exits in the United States. The second narrows it to Los Angeles. The third keeps the same German IP for every request that uses session a1b2c3d4, and -time-30 asks to hold it for 30 minutes. The full list is in Username parameters, and how holds work is in Rotating and sticky sessions.
Next steps
- Wire the proxy into your stack: Python Requests, Node.js, Puppeteer, Playwright or Scrapy.
- Use it in a browser or an antidetect profile: Chrome, AdsPower, Multilogin.
- Something fails? Start with Troubleshooting and Error codes.
