IPv6 Residential
Set up NyxonProxies IPv6 Residential proxies. Gateway and ports, how to check that a site supports IPv6, how to see the IPv6 exit and the billing modes.
IPv6 Residential proxies exit through residential IPv6 addresses in the United States. The IPv6 address space is enormous, so the pool offers a huge number of distinct addresses, and residential allocations look like home users to the sites that see them.
Connection details
| Setting | Value |
|---|---|
| Host | v6r.gw.nyxon.sh |
| HTTP port | 30 |
| SOCKS5 port | 31 |
| Login | The username and password of your IPv6 Residential plan |
You connect to the gateway over IPv4, like every other product. Only the exit uses IPv6, so your own network does not need IPv6.
Check a site for IPv6
These proxies can only reach sites that accept IPv6 connections. A site supports IPv6 when its hostname has an AAAA record. Check before you buy or point a job at it:
dig AAAA example.com +shortResolve-DnsName example.com -Type AAAAAn IPv6 address in the answer means the site is reachable over IPv6. An empty answer means it is IPv4-only, and you need an IPv4 product such as Residential for it.
See your IPv6 exit
Many IP check services answer over IPv4 only. Use one that also listens on IPv6:
curl -x http://USERNAME:[email protected]:30 https://api64.ipify.orgThe answer is an IPv6 address, written with colons, such as 2001:db8:85a3::8a2e:370:7334.
Pool and rotation
The exits are in the United States, so there is no location parameter to add. Each new connection can leave from a different address, and the proxy generator builds rotating lines for this product.
Billing
Two modes on the purchase page:
- Bandwidth: per GB, from 1 GB.
- Speed × Time: reserve 10 to 2,000 Mbps for 1, 7, 30, 60 or 90 days, with no gigabyte cap.
Rates are on the pricing page.
Good fits
- Large jobs on IPv6-ready sites, where the number of distinct addresses matters more than location.
- Spreading requests very thinly, so each address sends little traffic.
Some sites rate limit whole IPv6 ranges instead of single addresses. If a target blocks you even though your addresses keep changing, move it to an IPv4 product.
