Incogniton
Add NyxonProxies to Incogniton: the Proxy Library, SOCKS5 with a username and password, bulk adding, assigning proxies to profiles and sticky sessions.
Incogniton keeps proxies in a Proxy Library and assigns them to browser profiles. Add NyxonProxies there once, then pick it in each profile.
What you need
- Host and SOCKS5 port of your product. For Residential:
geo.gw.nyxon.shwith port1080. Other products are listed in Endpoints and ports. - Username and password from the plan page in the dashboard, or ready-made lines from the proxy generator.
Add the proxy
- Open Proxy Library in the left menu and click + New proxy.
- Set Connection type to SOCKS5.
- Enter
geo.gw.nyxon.sh:1080in Proxy (ip:port). - Enter your username in Proxy username and your password in Proxy password.
- Click Check, then Add.
Incogniton offers HTTPS or SOCKS5. It describes its HTTPS type as a proxy with SSL encryption between your device and the proxy, while the gateway's HTTP port is a plain HTTP proxy, so choose SOCKS5.
You can also paste a whole line into the ip:port field, and Incogniton fills in the other fields:
geo.gw.nyxon.sh:1080:USERNAME-country-us-session-inc0001-time-120:PASSWORDAdd many at once
In the add form, click Bulk add and paste one line per proxy in the same format, or load them from a CSV file with Load from file. Click Add to save them all.
Assign it to a profile
Open the profile, go to the Proxy tab, select Proxy Library and click Select from Proxy Library.
One IP per profile
Give every profile its own session ID, as in the line above. A session keeps its IP for up to 120 minutes, and a residential device can go offline sooner. The profile then continues on a new IP. See Rotating and sticky sessions.
Check the IP
Start the profile and open https://ipinfo.io/json. It should show a NyxonProxies IP in the country you targeted. If Incogniton shows a location that differs from the site you check, switch its Proxy provider to a backup provider: geolocation databases do not always agree.
Troubleshooting
| What you see | What to check |
|---|---|
| Check fails | The connection type is SOCKS5, the port is the SOCKS5 port of your product, and the username and password are correct. |
| The wrong country | The country code in the username, for example -country-de. |
| The IP changes while you work | Add a session ID, or raise its time. |
