NyxonProxies vs Oxylabs: proxy prices, KYC and payment compared (2026)

Oxylabs sells monthly subscriptions from $30 and asks every customer to complete a KYC questionnaire; it does not take crypto. NyxonProxies sells traffic by the gigabyte from a $1 crypto top-up, with no KYC. Prices for residential, mobile, datacenter and ISP proxies side by side, checked October 2026.

Oxylabs is one of the largest proxy companies in the world. It puts its residential pool at more than 175 million IPs, sells a long list of scraping APIs next to its proxies, and runs an enterprise sales team. NyxonProxies is a pay-as-you-go proxy network for developers and small teams. Both sell the same four core products, residential, mobile, ISP and datacenter proxies, so the useful questions are what each costs at the volume you actually use, how you pay, and what you have to hand over before you can start.

Every Oxylabs figure below comes from its public pricing, KYC and help-center pages, checked on 23 October 2026. NyxonProxies prices are from the live catalog on the same day.

How each one bills you

Oxylabs sells one subscription that unlocks all of its products. The plan sets your usage rates:

  • Starter: $30 a month
  • Basic: $100 a month
  • Flexible: $500 a month, the plan Oxylabs marks as most popular
  • Enterprise: from $2,500 a month

The self-service billing cycle starts on the day you buy and renews automatically. Purchases made through self-service are non-refundable, and if you cancel, Oxylabs' documentation says any unused balance at the end of the final cycle expires. New accounts get $5 of free credit to test with.

NyxonProxies has no plans. You top up a prepaid balance from $1, buy any product by the gigabyte from 1 GB, and the balance never expires. There is nothing to renew or cancel.

Residential proxies

Oxylabs residential rates fall as the plan grows: $6/GB on Starter (5 GB for $30), $5/GB on Basic (20 GB for $100), $4/GB on Flexible (125 GB for $500) and $2.50/GB on Enterprise (1,000 GB and up).

NyxonProxies charges a flat $1.10/GB for its premium residential pool, with country, state and city targeting, and $0.35/GB for Residential Budget, which targets by country.

The same monthly traffic on each:

  • 5 GB: $30 on Oxylabs; $5.50 premium or $1.75 Budget on NyxonProxies
  • 20 GB: $100 on Oxylabs; $22 or $7 on NyxonProxies
  • 125 GB: $500 on Oxylabs; $137.50 or $43.75 on NyxonProxies
  • 1,000 GB: $2,500 on Oxylabs; $1,100 or $350 on NyxonProxies

Oxylabs gives you more for its price, and it is fair to say what. Its residential proxies target by country, state, city, ZIP code, ASN and coordinates, where the NyxonProxies premium pool offers country and ASN, plus state and city in the US. Oxylabs sessions can be extended to 24 hours; NyxonProxies residential sessions hold an IP for up to 120 minutes. Oxylabs covers 195 countries against 160+, and supports HTTP3 as well as HTTP and SOCKS5. If you need ZIP-level targeting or day-long residential sessions, those are real reasons to pay more.

Mobile proxies

Oxylabs mobile traffic costs $7.50/GB on Starter (4 GB for $30), $6.67/GB on Basic, $5/GB on Flexible and $3.50/GB on Enterprise. Its mobile pool covers more than 140 countries with sessions of up to 24 hours.

NyxonProxies mobile costs $1.25/GB in 110+ countries, with sticky sessions up to 120 minutes and targeting down to the carrier's ASN. Four gigabytes cost $5 instead of $30; 100 GB cost $125 instead of $500 on the Flexible plan. If your target country is not on the NyxonProxies list, the United States among them, check Oxylabs, whose mobile pool covers more than 140.

Datacenter proxies

Datacenter is where the two come closest. Oxylabs charges $0.60/GB for metered datacenter traffic on its smaller plans, falling to $0.40/GB above 6,250 GB. It also rents datacenter IPs individually, at $1 per IP on the smaller plans, and dedicated datacenter IPs at $2.

NyxonProxies charges $0.36/GB at any volume, or you can buy datacenter bandwidth by speed, in Mbps per day, when you would rather pay for throughput than for gigabytes. For targets that answer over IPv6, the IPv6 datacenter pool costs $0.10/GB. The IPv6 guide explains how to check whether your targets support it.

ISP proxies

Oxylabs sells two kinds: ISP proxies at $1.50 per IP, falling to $1.10 above 2,270 IPs, and dedicated ISP proxies at $3 per IP, falling to $2.20 above 1,140 IPs.

NyxonProxies dedicated ISP IPs come from 8 countries, and the shared ISP pool from the US. Dedicated ISP IPs cost $3 per IP for 30 days, from 1 to 1,000 IPs, and the shared ISP pool is billed at $0.50/GB. For a few dedicated IPs the per-IP rate is the same, $3, but the smallest Oxylabs plan costs $30 a month and covers 10 of them. Oxylabs' rate then drops to $2.78 on the $100 Basic plan, which covers about 35 IPs, and keeps falling with volume, while the NyxonProxies rate stays flat. Past roughly 35 dedicated IPs, Oxylabs is the cheaper of the two, so if you rent hundreds of static IPs, compare that line carefully.

Payment and verification

This is where the two differ most.

Oxylabs accepts cards, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay and wire transfers, and its help center says plainly that it does not accept cryptocurrency. Its KYC policy applies to all customers: everyone answers a questionnaire, and the information requested includes the registered company name, date of incorporation, company address, business model and planned use case. Oxylabs says only 75% of customers are approved.

NyxonProxies is crypto-only, with coins such as BTC, ETH, SOL and USDT, and there is no KYC. You sign up with an email address and agree to an acceptable-use policy that forbids fraud, credential stuffing, spam, attacks and anything unlawful. Abuse reports are investigated, and accounts that break the rules can be suspended or closed. If you want the reasoning behind that model, read no-KYC proxies explained.

Oxylabs also publishes a list of targets its residential proxies refuse: Apple domains, banks and financial institutions, some Google domains, government websites, streaming, ticketing, mailing and entertainment services such as PlayStation. If your work touches any of those, test it before you commit to a plan.

What Oxylabs does better

  • Scraping products. A Web API for search and scraping, Web Unblocker and a hosted Agent Browser on the same subscription, plus datasets. NyxonProxies sells proxies only.
  • Targeting and sessions. ZIP and coordinate targeting on residential, state and city outside the US, and sessions up to 24 hours.
  • Coverage. 195 countries for residential and more than 140 for mobile.
  • Procurement. Invoices, wire transfers and account managers for companies that need them.

Which one to choose

Choose Oxylabs if you are a company that needs invoices and a contract, KYC is not a problem, and you need ZIP-level targeting, long residential sessions or a scraping API rather than raw proxies.

Choose NyxonProxies if you want to pay per gigabyte without a subscription, keep unused credit indefinitely, pay in crypto and skip identity checks, or if your volume changes from month to month. At every residential and mobile volume Oxylabs publishes, the NyxonProxies list price is lower.
